Janet Wolfe worked in the book publishing industry for 11 years before trading in her hour-long commute for a home-based freelance writing business.

As a salaried employee she managed the entire process of her projects: writing and designing campaigns; renting mailing lists; coordinating the printing and mailing of direct mail pieces; and tracking and analyzing results.

As a freelancer, Janet uses that experience to help clients create persuasive and audience-focused materials and to reach their own direct marketing and outreach goals.

Janet holds a Master of Arts degree in Nonfiction Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Frostburg State University, where she minored in both Business and Writing.

She works out of her home in Damascus, Maryland, where she is registered as a sole proprietor.
